zolomon zelko. director, designer, composer. good at impossible miscellaneous tasks.

zolomon zelko does every medium but dance

he is also an ex-goalkeeper, and in high school, his backup keeper was on the Ecuador national team. he did not want to play soccer. he wanted to be an entomologist. he wandered into film school after getting lost on a college tour. to this day, he is not quite sure why he said “yes” to a spot in the film school. a passion for film eventually followed, after a year-long tangent into animation school, a classical drama intensive, and going viral in Czechia via his illustrations of nude old men.

his true first medium was orchestra, and he goes home to music whenever he can. he plays a wide array of instruments poorly, and composes proficiently — symphonic, folk, cacophony, et cetera. his passion for noise extends to sound design and digital production, and he hopes to breach digital and analog engineering.

he is in love with everything (within reason), and has a knack for managing the unreasonable. some have described him as “very colorful.”
